The term Developmental Writing was a squishy one for me until I engaged Sharon and Maureen for editing assistance with my poetry rough drafts. They helped me with much more than just surface edits. They helped me to clarify what I wanted to say through my work, which of my ideas were the most valuable to me, and which parts I could let go. As a direct result of their intervention in my writing process four of my poems were selected to be published in the two journals I had chosen. Not only were my poems published, but I learned a great deal about how to best approach my revision strategies from Maureen and Sharon. With their help I was able to clearly see the strengths and weaknesses of my work, as well as its potential for growth and improvement. I couldn’t be happier than I am with Maureen and Sharon’s consulting services.
